Leeds, September, stunning weather, awesome venue, ace couple – the perfect combination for an amazing wedding! I’d been looking forward to Jodie & Andrew’s wedding all year, they had some great ideas for the day and I was excited to shoot once again at my favourite venue in Leeds, Left Bank.

I joined Jodie and her bridesmaids at the Radisson where Preps & Prosecco were well underway, a few giggles later I headed over to the Town Hall Tavern to share half a pint of Tim Taylors with Andrew and the gents before we all walked over to Leeds Town Hall for the ceremony.

Laughter was the theme of the day, throughout the ceremony, getting confetti in their hair and then onto the bus to Left Bank for more grins.

The former Church is the most ideal space for a wedding reception, light, airy and absolutely massive with awesome acoustics! The garden to the front of the building is a great sun trap and Jodie, Andrew & their guests enjoyed more fizz (and laughs) on the lawn.

For the rest of the afternoon, guests lazily mingled between the cool of the interior of the Church and the warm summer sunshine in the garden before sitting down to a hearty meal of Pie & Mash served ‘family style’ where everyone dug in.

Later, we wandered the streets of Burley Park for a few sundown portraits, pausing on the railway bridge for a moment before heading back to kick off the party!

An absolutely fabulous occasion and a pleasure to have made two new pals in Jodie & Andrew!
