Amy & Duncan // Victoria Hall & Braime Pressings. 22nd February 15

Amy & Duncan’s wedding was my second of 2015 and an occasion of firsts…

The first wedding I’ve photographed at the beautiful Victoria Hall in Saltaire and the first ever wedding to be held at the fantastic Braime Pressings factory canteen in Leeds!

What an absolutely cracking day it turned out to be, starting off at the Quebecs hotel in central Leeds with Amy & her bridesmaids whilst Duncan sipped whisky back at home with his groomsmen.

Then to Victoria Hall for their intimate ceremony with individually written vows and wonderful winter sunshine pouring through the huge windows of the Glen Room followed by a relaxed (if chilly) stroll around the village.

With dusk approaching, the wedding party made their way by vintage bus back to Leeds and over to the impressive and historic Braime Pressings Factory in Hunslet. As a keen fan of all things Industrial, oily and rusty, this venue was right up my street!

Amy & Duncan had set up the canteen at Braime’s for their wedding reception and what an absolutely perfect space…

Following some Ceilidh dancing, I took Amy & Duncan onto the dark factory floor where we took a few portraits amongst the machinery, forklift trucks and rolled steel sheeting!

All in all, a brilliant winter wedding and one I won’t forget in a hurry.
