A quirky, DIY Garden Party in Clare’s Grandfather’s garden.

On a stunning mid-summer Saturday I was extremely privileged to photograph Clare & Benedict’s fabulous wedding & party.

They’d transformed her Grandfather’s gardens and home into a fantastic venue for their wedding with a marquee and even his potting shed had been converted into a quirky little bar garlanded with hops and beautiful summer flowers…

The catering was carried out by Benedict’s older Brother, Tom and two of his pals, with this in mind I spent time flitting between Clare & her bridesmaid’s preparing upstairs, to the gents cutting Bresoala and Tuscan tomatoes in the Kitchen.

The couple had sourced and array of different worldwide beers in bottle, and in cask from the Derventio brewery.

Each guest was given a tankard for their beer, which doubled as a wedding favour.

Their marriage was at St. Mary’s church around 200 yards from the house, which meant that guests made their own way between the church and house, with a pub en route.

Clare works for Jenny Packham in London and she’d had input into the design of her dress. Her bridesmaid’s dresses and her accessories were also by Jenny Packham.

So amazing to see these they look wonderful! Can’t wait to get home tonight and have a proper look with Ben!!!

Thank you so much again, I’m so happy that we have these photographs to remember such an amazing day. You’ve captured it perfectly.
